Website information
Privacy Notice.
What the A-1 website collects, why it is used, and the choices you have when requesting service or a towing estimate.
Effective September 4, 2026
Information you choose to send.
When you submit the service-request form, A-1 receives the vehicle, contact, and concern details you enter. We use that information to review the request, contact you, and plan a possible repair or towing conversation. Do not include payment-card numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, or other sensitive account information.
Towing calculator and location.
After you type at least four characters in the towing pickup field, the partial address text is sent through A-1's server to Google Maps to return address suggestions. If you calculate a tow, the selected or manually entered pickup address is then used for address matching and road-route calculation. Current coordinates are sent only when you expressly authorize them through your browser.
The calculator does not add autocomplete searches, the pickup address, or coordinates to A-1's service-request database unless you separately submit the location in a service request. A-1 stores only separate monthly API-usage counts and update times to enforce owner-set limits; those counters do not contain address text, suggestions, or coordinates. Google processes location data under the Google Privacy Policy and Google Maps Additional Terms.
Current-location permission.
The website asks for current-location permission only after you select “Use my current location.” You can deny or revoke that permission in your browser and enter the pickup address manually instead.
Website operations and service providers.
The site's hosting, security, notifications, and mapping providers may process the limited technical or form information needed to deliver those functions.
To limit automated abuse, the service-request form creates a rotating pseudonymous identifier from the network address; rate-limit records are removed after about 24 hours, and A-1 does not save the raw network address in its service-request database. To prevent duplicate notifications, the form stores a keyed pseudonymous fingerprint with the submitted request. Neither identifier is shown in the shop's customer request log.
Advertising measurement.
A-1 temporarily keeps campaign tags, advertising referral identifiers, and the landing-page path in this browser tab for up to 30 minutes so they can follow your visit to the service form. When you submit a request, available source information is saved with that request for the shop's review. Source labels alone do not establish that a request came from a paid ad.
The site uses Google Ads and OpenAI Ads measurement tools to help A-1 understand whether an ad leads to a phone-link click or a successfully saved service request. These tools may receive limited browser and device information, the page URL, advertising click or referral identifiers, and event timing. A-1 does not send the phone number, vehicle details, VIN, concern description, or other service-request entries to either advertising tool. Google and OpenAI process measurement data under their respective Google Privacy Policy and OpenAI Privacy Policy.
